"Minions!", You must see Gerald in action! A skilled performer, this artist takes us on a roller coaster ride through the strange, wonderful and terrifying funhouse of a young man coming of age, Mexican American style. His wildly funny characters ultimately way to reveal a deep and touching tale. Let this this World of Warcraft internet geek tell it like it is.... full review

Really enjoyed this show! The story was simultaneously poignant and funny. The humor managed to be sharp and witty without being raunchy. The performance was excellent with Gerald seamlessly transforming from one character to the next. I would highly recommend and would definitely see again.... full review

Gerald Ford's solo show, El Ultimo Coconut, had the perfect blend of humor and vulnerability. It is a coming of age story that anyone from any culture can identify with. He transitioned from character to character without missing a beat. I laughed and I was genuinely moved.... full review

What makes 'El Ultimo Coconut' great is it comes from a real place. Very honest, very funny and like the various characters that he so effortlessly weaves in and out of, Gerald also manages to pack on real complexities. At the surface, it's a story about a young man trying to find his identity and follow his dream. But it's also about family and race relations and racial stereotypes and racial segregation and breaking bad family chains, rising above to be better than what people expect of you. But none of it feels heavy-handed. It's all done through comedy and you're laughing along the entire time without ever realizing the deeper meaning the story is giving you. Superbly acted, funny as hell and characters that ring true, not only for p... full review

What an epic journey! I was not expecting it, given the first few minutes or the information in the Festival promotional materials. Coco goes from schlub to hero to self-actualized man while gaining accurate information about how family along the way. And the wonderful milieu and colorful characters. This was well worth the trouble.... full review

Delightful and surprising - Gerald shifts beautifully between characters all while telling a memorable coming of age story. An enjoyable night of theatre- light but not without meaning-- so glad I made it out to this one.... full review

Macbeth but funny!

It's the Multi-Media Story of Sci-Fi

It's the story of Sci-Fi, and James Mandell brings lost film trailers, classic radio and TV, wry humor and original music to this multi-media extravaganza. A rock show live to video, it's a moon shot at a future rocketing towards us at light speed.
