Johnathan is a high-energy, honest and poignant storyteller who took us on a journey - both literally and figuratively - through the jungle of LA. He paints vivid characters and real emotions that are still with me now. Go see this show! You’ll never look at a Lyft ride the same way again. :-)... full review

Bravo!! Excellent stories. Terrific storyteller. The guy knows how to engage an audience. Plus he weaves a deeper more troubling story underneath his stories of his strange new job and his painful split with his girlfriend - the story of how our society's sense of community and kindness is deteriorating. ... full review

I could have sat for at least another hour listening to this charming storyteller. I laughed a lot, cried a little- and have you seen his eyes? Jonathan expertly takes his riders on a memorable journey, slowly letting us into his heart in this refreshingly vulnerable and human one man play. The writing is lovely, smart but not high brow- the delivery is casual and intimate and you'll hang on his every word. Best traffic jam ever.... full review

As a regular Uber rider, I was very excited to see this show, based on how much weird stuff I personally encounter on my trips. To my delight, the author/performer turned even the worst of his driving experiences into positive lessons for himself. Not only we laugh or gasp listening about his adventures, but also feel for him and almost cry, when he sincerely talks about his relationships, fears, and self-doubt. The show is totally funny and entertaining, but also makes you think and look for examples in your own life. I strongly recommend seeing it.... full review

Wow! I LOVED this show! Very truthful, emotional, sad, and funny, this solo performance was well crafted and very entertaining. We were a passenger on his journey and his story. Sometimes the ride ended too early just as we were getting into a deep conversation about his personal relationship, then BOOM! A new "passenger" entered the story, or the audience reached their stop, and he dropped us off, and a new story or dialogue began. It left me wanting closure. More about this or that. So what happened next? But I see what Jonathan did there, crafting this trip with us. I wanted more closure on some stories.... full review

Thoroughly enjoyable and moving piece. From the moment you walk into the theatre you feel at ease with the performer and excited for the journey ahead. Johnathon Tipton Meyer eases you in with delightful and hilarious anecdotes before taking you into the darker areas of humanity - some i was thankful for the reminder, and others shocked that I had been so unaware. The piece really highlights how we should value our connection to, and faith in, each other and how even the simplest things in life can provide such joy and positivity. Thank you for the ride.. and y'know.. I guess I really SHOULD give Coldplay another chance .. ... full review
