Best of the Fringe.
Go see this amazing, funny, touching, beautiful piece of theater.
So so good. Great even. This is great theater. I’ve seen over 20 Fringe shows and this is so far and above most everything else out there. When you go to a Fringe show you expect to see a new thing somebody is trying out. This on the other hand is a fully realized play. Complete script that looks to have been extensively workshopped, a wonderful cast, highlighted by the amazing Brendan Hunt who is hard to look away from, his comedic timing, his raw emotional core, his physical skills, the depth he brings to this amazing character full of pathos is truly amazing. A heartbreaking laugh out loud performance is something you don’t see every day. There is literally no weak link in this cast. Every single actor is at the top of their game giving their best work.
There are few full productions, with perfect tech, a perfect cast, a compelling story, and great direction to be found anywhere in the Fringe. Actually, it would be hard to find a production of this caliber anywhere in the world, Fringe or no. Go catch this show here in this beautiful little theater where you get to see the dirt and sweat on Pigpen up close and personal before the only place you’ll be able to see this show will be at the Ahmanson or Broadway. Seriously. That good.
