#Hashtag is a new comedy devised by The Mechanical Heart. It explores the other kind of LA gridlock: the daily struggle to remain engaged in the present moment in a culture built on social media and status anxiety.
As the audience enters the Elephant Space, they are encouraged to keep their phones ON, take photos and video (which they can upload to Instagram and Youtube) and live-tweet the characters onstage.
