Who do we become in darkness, unobserved? Inspired by texts from the Harlem Renaissance, the Left Bank, and the Mexican Revolution, this dark comedy follows groups of outsiders as they betray each other, make out, strip, kill, and discover just how badly they’re capable of behaving.

Also, there’s some weird burlesque, and it gets pretty gay.

The ladies of The Others, a sister company of the Downtown Repertory Theater, got sick of using their classical training on actual classical text and decided to make something messier. They look like the cover of a college diversity pamphlet, and they think their plays should too.
