Such a great and honest show. It does a great job of capturing the feeling of coming to LA to pursue a career in comedy, and the non-linear path that it takes. Lots of heart and lots of laughs. Definitely highly recommend it!... full review

Hilarious, engaging and loaded with heart, 'Who Am I' delivers in every way. Carmen Angelica gives us a delightfully poignant (and sometimes heartbreaking) look at life in Los Angeles. This one woman show is a tour de force of infectious energy, hilarious writing and technical wizardry that elevates it beyond the typical HFF fare. Most one-person shows tend to wallow in the bittersweet taste of their own self-sacrifice whereas Carmen's piece transcends the medium and uses clever staging, powerful visuals and ingeniously crafted setups to turn well-trodden territory into a vibrant piece of theatre. Kudos to Rebecca Drysdale for her masterful directorial touch. This 30-minute gem is a good reminder of what the Hollywood Fringe Festival... full review

I can't think of a show I enjoyed more this year. Wonderfully written and performed. I usually have a tough time with one person shows but this moved at such a brisk pace and the honesty caught me off guard. Very compelling. You will feel like your friends with the performer afterwards. Above all, it's funny. I was shocked to see how fast the time went. I think this show speaks well for the Hollywood Fringe Festival as a whole.... full review

I will definitely see Carmen's show again. Because it's hilarious, and because I can't explain to my friends how it nails some of our 'what the hell am i doing' experiences--but from a weird, funny and NOT QUIRKY perspective. I have never seen a show start with a funnier opening. Her mix of animation, singing, and physical comedy make the whole thing fun to watch. This is the first fringe solo show I've seen and Carmen has set the bar really freaking high.... full review

Funny and creative - one woman trying to figure out what she's doing here in LA. From the first ten seconds you'll be impressed at how imaginative the show is. You'll be surprised at how much she fits in a 30 minute show. Definitely check it out!... full review

I love Carmen's vulnerability in this show. Its a powerhouse performance, unique, hilarious, moving and clever. Her and Beck Drysdale expand the boundaries of what I thought a one woman show could be! It's great. Go see this show! ... full review

Carmen Angelica's show is honest, brave, and completely free of pretension or self-indulgence. None of that would matter if "Who Am I And What The Hell Am I Doing?" isn't funny -- but it is. I'd expect nothing less from director Rebecca Drysdale, one of the best in the business. Go see this show!... full review
