Truly amazing and fun!!! The songs were wildly inventive, catchy, funny, and hit the right notes, especially the "Game Over" one. The actors were exceptional. The direction and choreography was spot-on. Great job with the puppets and costumes for the ALIEN storyline. I'm a huge ALIENS fan and this was a great crossover-of-worlds. I would and will most definitely recommend this!... full review

Maria von Trapp in a suit of power armor protecting Little Orphan Annie from the Xenomorph Queen. Let me say that again. MARIA VON TRAPP. IN POWER ARMOR. PROTECTING ORPHAN ANNIE. FROM XENOMORPHS. Holy. Crap. If that's not enough (and it damn well should be!), the clever songs, well-executed gags and Top-Notch puppetry should be enough to motivate you to head over to the Elephant for this brilliant hour of entertainment. This show is easily a frontrunner for Best Musical this year. Do not miss it. ... full review

I loved this show!! It was hilarious and surprised me the entire time! I am a huge Aliens fan, and I was extremely pleased with the treatment of the xenomorph in this show. Fantastic costumes, props, and acting, truly made this a wonderful experience for an 80s fan like myself. I loved the inside jokes and nods to the classic franchise, as well as all of the great musical theatre moments that we all know and love! Without a doubt in my mind, this has been the most fun I have ever had at a Hollywood Fringe show. Ever!... full review

Every year there’s one new musical that takes Hollywood Fringe by storm. This year that show is likely to be Erik Przytulski and Steve Troop’s deliciously genre-bending Alien Vs. Musical. Click on "Original Article" to read my complete review at StageSceneLA.com.... full review

You might think that all you need to know about this show is in the title, but you'd be mistaken. The title doesn't tell you how clever the lyrics are, how fantastic the vocals are, or how spot-on the performances are. One might be tempted to call them impressions but that doesn't do justice to how fully and three-dimensionalally these characters are lived (admittedly in some cases rather briefly). The on stage use practical lights works very well to convey a few different moods & elements over the course of the piece. Easily my favorite sight gag/reference was completely unexpected, perfectly executed, and almost no time at all, I only wish there had been an actual pipe-organ available for it. The only person to whom I would not ... full review

I grew up watching ALIENS. There was a summer where my brothers and I would watch it three times a day. Occasionally we'd throw ALIEN in to switch it up. Whenever we had family gatherings, my brothers, all our cousins and I would play ALIENS in our basement. One kid would be the "alien" and the rest of us (marines) had to do several laps around the basement to safely get back to the sulaco. Anyone who got wasted by the "alien" became an "alien" as well and would try to kill the rest of us. I love ALIEN and ALIENS and I loved Alien Vs. Musical. I apologize to those around me when I was cheering loudly and losing my shit pretty much throughout the performance. Forever I've been trying to figure out a way to get my beloved xenomorph on stage an... full review

Such a great parody. Wish there was a way for us to see more and get a fuller story arc like we would from a full length musical, because the characters are just so much fun and I left just wanting more. The only complaint I have is that sometimes it took me out of the show with some some of the staging how the actors once dead would stand up and walk out the door, or how the actor's back was sticking out of the alien costume, but I completely understand how there are serious limitations when producing such an epic production at a small theater with a limited budget.... full review

For anyone who loves musicals or Alien, this show is for you. Hilarious and inventive, tongue-in-cheek and captivating, Erik Przytulski and Steve Troop know how to tell a seemingly impossible musical story in the best way possible. A must-see!... full review

My first fringe show of the 2015 Fringe and it has set a high bar for the rest of the month! Alien vs. Musical was just plain fun. Throw in great vocalists, a script that keeps you laughing and some incredible puppetry and you have a not to miss musical!... full review
