I was utterly charmed, touched, and mesmerized by the performance of Grayson Morris. I did not want this show to end! Her intimate and moving autobiographical exploration should be recorded and placed in a time capsule as a perfect illustration of the world and existence many (probably most) Americans in their twenties and thirties are experiencing today. However, you don’t need to be in this age group to appreciate this wonderful presentation. It will resonate with people of all ages. What happens in a time of new freedoms, and different norms, when people aren’t compelled to live the way their ancestors did? How does one navigate this new world without a map? What if we’re not content to simply settle for the “normal” life most humans have lived up until now? And what exactly does it mean to “grow up?” Grayson poses more questions than answers, and does so with incredible straightforwardness and honesty. She exhibits a gentle humor and easy-going manner that makes her not only very watchable, but quite likable and appealing. Her anecdotes and use of shadow puppets and a projector screen are thoroughly entertaining. Please go see this show! Highly recommend!
