Pure passion. Sean gives a very real, up front, in your face, point of view experience of what it must feel like coming back from the horrors or war to a Pleasantville life that cannot live up to the trenches of battle. Whether Sean has actually been to war or not, he certainly conveyed to his audience the abject torture Veterans must feel when they return home. Two thumbs up. A must see to be able to say that you saw Sean Topps when...... full review

I came in to this show expecting some over-the-top bluster (the actor, Sean Topps, has done over-the-top quite expertly before) but was surprised to find the performance subtler, more nuanced, altogether more heartbreaking. The piece is strong, especially when Mr. Topps makes full use of the sometimes-awkward intimacy of the stage.... full review

Sean takes us up close into the mind of a war veteran who's life has been derailed as a result of ptsd. Emotional & powerfully performed, with a perfect tinge of humor, this experience will be well worth your time!... full review

A riveting performance, brimming with raw emotion. Sean delivers a deeply convincing portrayal of a war vet who’s seen too much and yet inexplicably yearns to see more. He takes us inside the tortured life and mind of a shell-shocked man struggling with the horrors of PTSD, shining a light on the condition in a very personal way. Ultimately, Sean’s performance and lyrical deftness will leave you transformed, making you feel deeply for these often-invisible humans who have given their lives in a very ongoing way for our personal freedoms. A must see. Actually, make that, a must experience.... full review

Behavior:irritability, hypervigilance, aggression, hostility, screaming Mood: emotional distress, anger, homelessness, nervousness Psychological: hallucination, severe anxiety, mistrust, flashbacks The above lists what a person struggling with PTSD may experience. These are very strong and extremely fierce reactions to the stress and intensity of war. They are also the emotions and behaviors you are acutely aware of during Sean Toops' self-written play, What Be G*d is Blessing. The stage is set as how one would expect to see any number of typical homeless camps, certainly indicative to the daily scene of LA's notorious Skid Row.The theater shares walls with surrounding theaters, adding a layer of noise. This would detract as well as ... full review

This is one of the best one man acts I've seen in a long time! You can tell that a lot of work and passion was put in to this act. When you leave the show you'll never see veterans the same way again. It was a very moving show and I will be definitely recommending this show to my friends and family.... full review
