Growing up, Shadley Grei never knew his father even though they lived in the same town. They met briefly when Shadley was 18 and then, 12 years later, ended up at a party together where Shadley recognized his father but the recognition was not mutual.
Five years and one letter of forgiveness after that, Shadley was finally invited into his father’s life, only to be confronted by a series of experiences that left him wondering if maybe he’d been better off wondering what this would be like instead of actually knowing.
Clearly family is the reason God invented booze.
This is that very funny, sad, bizarre and true story.
