Four short plays written by members of The Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights (ALAP), which may or may not have anything to do with sex, nudity, or weapons of mass destruction, but which you should come to see anyway.

The plays are “Strange Town: Seasoned Friends” by Larry Gene Fortin; “Meet-Up” by Thomas J. Misuraca; “Long Time Gone” by Benjamin Scuglia; and “Seldom Is Heard” by Mary Steelsmith.

We were going to call the show “ALAP Uber Alles” as a way of encouraging everyone to take Uber to the theatre — why worry about parking? Besides, with Uber you can be drunk at the show and not have to worry about driving home.

But then we realized that sex probably sells better than Uber, and that sex usually involves nudity, and that weapons of mass destruction would only make the sex and nudity more fun. Right?

So come!

And if you’re a playwright with a show at the Fringe, make sure to check out ALAP, the support and service organization for playwrights!
