I have never been a huge fan of comedy that is derived from making fun of specific people. Therefore, I I was skeptical that I would like this show, but on the recommendations of several friends who have seen other performances, I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. While much of the comedy does come at the expense of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck the overall story winds up revolving around their friendship. Which even with it’s ups and downs - and there are definitely downs in this play - it is a sappy bromance. Both of the male characters are played by women, and they do a great job. The middle drags a bit, but at the end it is a #SeeItLA. Listen to more about this play on Episode 5 of the See It or Skip It podcast.... full review
