Mrs. Representation follows a series of therapy sessions where the following minor female characters meet: the housewife, the cheerleader, and the Asian-American side character. Dr. Miller leads the sessions until the entire rules of the world are thrown off when Emma, a confident and snarky lesbian who was created by female TV writers. Emma tests the rules of the therapy sessions and Dr. Miller’s patience as she attempts to flirt with the cheerleader. Rose, the Asian-American, reaches her wits end with not being able to ever speak her mind, and the girls start to rebel. Dr. Miller is written off her show and the remaining girls find new power in writing their own material with their own pens.
