The show was a powerful and impactful one. The artist brought us into the world of a woman, a daughter, a Filipina observing the very wild world of the South. The bravery that the artist demonstrated in exploring sensitive topics is quite inspiring.... full review

One of the best shows I've seen in this year's Fringe! A very moving, incredibly grounded, and deeply personal account of a woman's coming of age. Ruth is a phenomenal storyteller. This show is not to be missed!... full review

Ruth is an immensely talented writer and performer, and this show reflects all of her strengths. Her show travels to unexpected places, from the lighthearted to the deeply disturbing-- I found myself truly surprised by the turns it took on more than one occasion. While the show would benefit by some tightening/editing, the rawness and realness of the piece kept me engaged throughout. I am truly eager to see more of Ruth's work in the future to see how she evolves and continues to develop. Brava!... full review
