Amazing. Joanne Hartstone should be a national treasure. We were so glad she brought this show to us from Down Under, and thrilled by the quality of the research she had obviously done on this historical time. See full review at Indie Voice Blog.... full review

This show is a gift, it is history mixed with sobering observations on the dangers of high expectations that can never be met. This is a woman who had dreams. Hollywood doesn’t cater to dreams though. It creates a beautiful piece of theater that transports the audience to another era with style and grace. As the tale unfolds, there are beautiful renditions of classic tunes. Some you will recognize, some may be new to you.... full review

I was highly impressed with this show. Not only is Joanne Hartstone a talented singer and actor, but she is also a talented writer and director. Ms. Hartstone gives a "tour de force" performance as a young woman chasing her American Dream. ... full review

This play completely captures that 'noir' feel. You are taken back to a different era in Hollywood. At some point in the show, you forget the current time and are living in history. Brilliant and inspiring work!... full review
