What I liked

All the actresses did an excellent job creating and projecting their characters. And, Not to discount the value of any of the actresses; but, I was mesmerized by Savannah Rutledge’s character.

Throughout the play the layers of Savanna’s character are slowly peeled away; bringing her from the fringes to center stage. Savannah, finally introduces you to a complex lady whose history forced her to diminish her worth to a point of numbness; ultimately forcing her to seek alternative ways to FEEL. From the beginning, this character grabs the audience to feel her character’s chaos and pain, inviting the audience to sense the strength of her emotional turmoil.

Not a dry eye in the theater. Bravo for Savanna Rutledge!!!

What I didn't like

My overall impression

Through the eyes of four ladies meeting together in a Plastic Surgeons waiting room was the catalyst for each lady to ponder on their decision and look through the past and present to eventually realize that their own perspective has been alter, not by their own eyes, but through the eyes of those who have verbally, emotionally, physically, and psychology assaulted each lady; their peers and loved ones.

Sometimes love becomes transparent, but is it too late? Through the course of one evening, Nick and Alysha ultimately remind themselves how deep their love is. A knock on the door, however, brings the world crashing down around them.

Can we ever stop paying for the past? Can the person we want to be ever escape the person we are now and were then? What price must be paid for not only our own crimes, but those of people close to us?
