Review by JAKE KORNELY

What I liked

My favorite part of this show was the narrative of Lanessa accepting the fact that she is an artist. She finds the humor in how society treats artists as a profession as well as her days at art school. I found this very honest and relatable.

What I didn't like

I felt the ending was a little abrupt. I wanted the show to keep going. Lanessa draws you in and eventually you’ll want to hear her take on everything.

My overall impression

A very funny mix of music and self-deprecating humor. If Lanessa only told jokes, or if she only sang songs, that would be a great show. The combination of these talents makes this show unique, engaging, and hilarious.
