Reading the title of this show might make you think of self deprecating humor, which it is just that, but Lanessa is a master at it. Fringe is the perfect audience for this show as most of us are, or have been, in her stage of life. Having just finished 4 years of art school, Lanessa questions what she will do for the rest of her life, with a musical throughline. With a short runtime of 42 minutes, this show will fit perfectly in your Fringe schedule. Perhaps the funniest one-person show I've seen all year....

Long is a natural comedienne. Her show was essentially a stand up comedy routine which included music, reminding us of the great Judy Tenuta. She had the audience in stitches throughout her show, and definitely gave them something to think about and to enjoy. Her stories were heartfelt and so relatable, and her musical accompaniment was a joy to behold....

Fun, funny, and oh so relatable! Lanessa keeps the audience engaged and laughing the entire time! She talks and sings about situations many of us have been in and her take on handling these situations are absolute gold. This one woman show is thought provoking in the most humorous and enjoyable way. It's the kind of show you can see over and over and over again because "Nobody's Really Helped Me" is that friggin Fabulously GOOD! Go see it!!! You Definitely Won't Regret It!...

I’m convinced Lanessa is going places, big places. She is new, she is fresh and she is so, so funny. This show is absolutely hilarious, heartwarming and relatable. Lanessa combines music and comedy flawlessly, moving seemlessly from song to standup.
