What I liked

I liked the concept. I liked the story. I liked the teacher student relationship until the end. I think that this play has a lot of potential but needs to be slightly polished before it shines brightly.

What I didn't like

I felt like the idea and story arc were good, but for some reason my attention would sway during scenes. I am no professional, but I think maybe it is related to dialogue. I also felt that the transition music served no purpose other than to fill up time as set changes were made. This could be fixed by choosing music to fit the play’s tone instead using Katy Perry’s “Roar” which is a happy song to me. I felt like the ending was abrupt and then everything just ended. This possibly was the intention of the cast, so I won’t say that it was a bad ending. The ending definitely left me thinking

My overall impression

I think that this play is going to be amazing! An interesting topic that has you going back and forth on what side you root for. Great concept, great story, I just sometimes got bored in individual scenes. I am no professional, but I think that after some polish this piece will shine like a star
