I enjoyed this performance immensely. I love word play and intellectual banter and nuance and puns and innuendo and word play. As a result, I was thoroughly entertained. Well-written and uniquely unusual.... full review

This is a zany, funny show with lots of laughs! A large cast puzzles, banters and argues with each other over the meaning and purpose of certain words. This is a very smart show. Very well-written with a great cast. I loved it!... full review

So when I read the title I was highly sceptical about this body of work and my willingness to see it. Let's just say I'm glad I did. The show was amazing, never thought I would laugh so hard from a play called "Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road". They turned this old joke into a new comedy that would be worth watching twice or more! ... full review

"How can a play about words in a joke make me feel things?" I asked, not knowing the journey I was about to embark on. This is a deceptively deep, emotional, and funny show about finding meaning, accepting yourself and others, and being ok with being yourself despite how others might see you. If you ever wanted to think about the horror of existence through the lens of comedy, this is the show to see. ... full review

An existential trip through words, Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road is an excellent example of what a Fringe show can be. Silly, absurd, intriguing, and ultimately surprisingly emotional, the actors are all committed to the strange world they inhabit as they trust the deftly written script made up of those very words.... full review

With a delayed start of 20 minutes and a performance time shorter than billed, I was grumpy and not convinced they would deliver. (WHY can't I take and share a quick photo?) Then the loonacy and "word" play hit me and I was delighted! Bloody Brilliant! Highly recommend. ... full review

Brilliant wordplay! Presenting every word with is own personality lead to clever deconstruction and existential philosophizing which sustained the seventy minutes to a satisfying conclusion... full review

There was a lot of running around and physical movement on the stage. There were moments when there seemed to be a build of commotion but I never quite understood what the point of it was. The overall concept of the piece is very abstract, which I usually enjoy, but it never quite 'clicked' with me. Our showtime was supposed to be 5:30 but we didn't get let into the house until 5:50 (which may not be the show's fault). I think that is the reason why we did not have an intermission when we were supposed to have one.... full review
