Let’s Write A Musical is an inspiring, playful, deeply poignant tribute to the power of love in the midst of life’s most challenging times. It is beautifully constructed, with a story within a story. The musical numbers are wonderful, sweet and catchy. The actors clearly love the material and give it their all. Bravo to Lawrie, the cast and the director!!... full review

WOW! What a treat! I am so so pleased that I got to witness this absolute joy. What a great way to end my Fringe schedule! I laughed, I cried, I felt my heart lurch, I loved this show and am so impressed by Lawrie and the cast’s talent. I wish Lawrie bowed on the stage because she deserves one hell of an applause for what she’s created.... full review

FABULOUS!!!!!! How you can write a musical with this topic and have it be completely joyous, I don't know. Kudos to the writers. The entire cast was excellent but the stand out, for me, is Cameron Gilliam who takes John Coppola's BRILLIANT staging and just flies with it. John Coppola has this amazing ability to give actors physical things to do that add humor and fun to every moment. I've been seeing 2 and three shows a day practically at the Fringe and this is the MOST fun by far. ... full review

Let me start by saying I am generally not a fan of the genre… BUT “Let’s Write a Musical” is two very different heartfelt love stories inexplicably intertwined seamlessly which weaves a broad panoramic tapestry of romantic love masterfully. Being both an artful tribute to the feel good musicals of our past and the skillful marriage of the reality of real life this production evokes genuine emotions without schmaltz or grandiosity. “Let’s Write a Musical“ economically tells an original story full of simple profound truths and leaves you with gratitude for the opportunity of having this unique genuine theatrical experience. The upbeat feel good 50‘s homage of original music is complemented beautifully with an unexpectedly talented cast w... full review
