Desert is the Dirt Heart follows a mysterious cowgirl through a barren landscape as she chases faded memories and desert mirages – her journey borders on the surreal, and her search more desperate with every passing moment. She encounters a cadre of dusty characters whose intentions are as clear as smoke. Through ritual and ruin they push her mind and body to its limits, conjuring the source of her quest, the origin of her struggle: a child. Desert is the Dirt Heart is a prologue to a developing feature length film. Staring Lake Sharp, Heidi Darchuk, Ken Roht and Eric Layer.
