You know the type. They seem to have it all: cash, charm, and connections. We let them play by different rules. But when a boy is found dead and two more stand to hang, justice is put under the microscope and we have to ask: how did we get here, where are we going, and do we even have a choice?
Inspired by an infamous Jazz-Age crime, In Conclusion: navigates the thin line between young love and despair, empathy and the law, and self-expression and self-destruction. With signature Puckwit Gang style In Conclusion: merges interrogation transcripts, preening teen philosophers, medieval poetry and fearless physicality into a vivisection of radicalized youth, and performative justice.
The Puckwit Gang returns for their third Hollywood Fringe! In 2017 The Puckwit Gang arrived with Chimpskin, the tale of Lucy, a chimpanzee raised into humanity by a scientist and his family, which received awards for Distinctive Voice presented by The 2Cents Theatre Group and Self-Produced Work awarded by ShoWorks. Last year they spread the loving word with The Dangerous Cures of Dr. B, a gonzo yarn of good faith, bad science, and goat glands for which they received the Steve Kent Award from the Rough Riders Theater Cavalry for promoting social and political conversation.
