CHRISTINE DEITNER certified reviewer June 22, 2019
Another reviewer here already noted that this isn’t an immersive show but the director stood up during this performance to note that instead it is a ‘site-specific’ show... which it isn’t actually either. It’s really an ensemble show in the round (or in this case, the rectangle). The cast is solid and the writing is interesting. I wouldn’t stress any Sorkin-like equivalencies at all, though the dialogue is rapid fire, that’s about as close as it comes and that, from this reviewer, is a compliment (we have one Sorkin - we need individual voices).... full review

Incredibly intelligent, terrifically acted, and fast paced. So timely, but with a balance of smart humor and political commentary that keeps the show fun and engaging. ... full review

Well written and performed, but most of all: solidly entertaining!... full review

This is a fine show. Entertaining. But not immersive theatre. Perhaps anticipating this, the director began the show with a speech about how immersive theatre is different from interactive theatre. While I agree with that statement, I am struggling to see why this would be called immersive theatre. (Just because the chairs are at the side of the room and not in rows doesn't make the show immersive. At least I've never seen such shows advertised as immersive before.) ... full review

Not immersive- well acted but with a potentially dangerous message.... full review

Very entertaining and conversation provoking. As mentioned by others, not really immersive or interactive, but just an intimate setting for some very strong performances. Well worth checking out, and talking about afterward.... full review

billed as immersive, this production was introduced as "site-specific." An intense, 4 character production and great ensemble work was magnified having it performed in the round in close proximity to the audience. Adult subject, highly recommend.... full review
