NMI’s Masterclass Series features professionals from the world of musical theatre providing practical advice to creators of new musicals. These talks are of special interest to composers, lyricists, and bookwriters, but also to audience members who’d like an inside perspective on how musicals are made.
This installment features musical director Jennifer Lin, whose experience ranges from indy Fringe shows to regional productions of well-known musicals from Broadway and the West End. Bringing the often-overlooked perspective from the pit, Jennifer will discuss artistic and practical issues that can mean the difference between a successful show and a learning experience.
