An incredible piece of writing and acting. Both Sam Breen and Gabi Trigo shine in this dark and multifaceted exploration of a couple's struggle with alcoholism, identity, and desire.
This is a narrative written for the modern viewer- you can't be lazy watching this show, which I love. The characters are mercurial, making hairpin physical and emotional shifts as we track them through years of their relationship, with many unexpected twists and turns.
