Katherine Diaz

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Katherine spent the early part of her life thoroughly immersed in the performing arts. After graduating high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career and immediately dove into classes, studying Meisner and other techniques at an array of prestigious studios. Katherine’s most recent film, The Answers, written and directed by Emmy-nominated director, Mike Goode, and starring When The Heart Calls’ Daniel Lissing, won Best Short Film at the 2015 Santa Barbara Film Festival. A Fringe veteran, nominated last year for Best Supporting Actress in Mahoobla Productions’ presentation of Neil LaBute’s SOME GIRLS, Katherine returns to the Hollywood Fringe Festival this year as executive producer and lead in Robert Caisley’s HAPPY, with her newly launched production company, KTQ Productions.
